Bio

Dr. Gloria Tam is a human-centered design, decision-making and leadership development expert with over two decades of experience across Yale, BCG, Harvard, and the WHO Academy, designing digital experiences for global leaders in business, education, and the social sector. As a designer and educator, Tam's work spans learning environments, products, and interactive media. She is a Professor at the Business College of Minerva University, where she teaches courses on product development and consumer insights, guides students through the capstone sequence, and brings the design-thinking process to life with young entrepreneurs turning their ideas into reality. Previously, Tam was the Director of Online Course Design and Pedagogy at Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education, where she led course-design strategy and partnered with faculty to embed inclusive pedagogy, learning science, and technology-enhanced approaches into their teaching. Before Harvard, she led BCG U as Global Director at Boston Consulting Group, overseeing the firm's global client upskilling, learning, and enablement unit. There her team developed and launched executive programs on artificial intelligence in business, climate and sustainability, leadership, and strategic problem solving, working with senior leaders at Fortune 50 companies and mission-driven organizations to transform organizational learning at scale. Earlier, Tam directed the Center for Customer Insights at Yale School of Management, a leading hub for applied behavioral science research and practice, where she designed and led executive education on behavioral science, decision-making, and consumer insights for global business leaders. Tam holds a PhD in cognitive science from the University of Cambridge. She also co-founded two education-related companies and social enterprises in Asia.
