Accomplishments

Jamina Cole King serves as Executive Vice President of Advancement at Minerva University, where she oversees fundraising, alumni relations, external partnerships, marketing, and Board Relations. In this senior leadership role, she drives philanthropic strategy, brand development, and resource growth to support Minerva’s ambitious mission to reinvent higher education and develop global changemakers.

Cole King brings nearly two decades of experience in fundraising, campaign leadership, and strategic partnerships across higher education, healthcare, NGOs, and the arts. Previous tenures include  Tulane University, Emory University, The Mount Vernon School, and Teach For America - Metro Atlanta. Most recently, she served as Interim Vice President and Associate Vice President of Philanthropy at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she helped lead the closeout of a historic $500 million campaign.

A champion of equity and innovation in education, Cole King holds a Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts School of Theater. She is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and a Fellow, Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP).
