Bio
Teppei spent most of his life in Japan (Tokyo) and in the US (RI, OR, PA), and has nearly two decades of professional experience in the field of international & higher education, both at universities and study abroad organizations. During his undergraduate career, he spent the first two years in Oregon, then a year in Quito, Ecuador, a year in Poitiers, France, a semester in Querétaro, Mexico, and then returned to Oregon for the last eight months.
He has a lot of good memories of learning languages, meeting local and international people in different contexts, and feels that he can relate to the Minervan educational path and global exploration. As the Student Engagement & Programs Manager, he oversees the City Experiences offered in Tokyo, as well as the planning and coordination of the big excursions scheduled during the fall semester as part of the Japanese Society & Culture Course (JSCC). He hopes to offer a variety of experiences and activities, and welcomes suggestions and requests from students based on their personal, academic and professional interests. He enjoys playing sports (volleyball, martial arts, tennis), watching movies, reading manga, eating good food and ice creams.

This is a comparative study of the two processes of currency change that occurred in Ecuador in 2000 and in France in 2002, focusing on their cultural impact on people.
